EXP Based Progression

We’re phasing out the Block System and bringing back the classic EXP progression system. Now, mining blocks will earn you EXP to increase your rank, and upon reaching specific Rank breakpoints, you’ll unlock the ability to Prestige. This update ensures a smoother, more consistent sense of growth and long-term progression.

Mine Tokens

Mine Tokens are back as a dedicated mine-specific currency! You can earn them by mining Gold Blocks inside your mine, then spend them on powerful upgrades like larger mine sizes, more gold blocks, and stronger multipliers or boosters. This system adds a fresh layer of strategy to managing and upgrading your mine for long-term growth.

Emerald Enchants

Fan-favorite Emerald Enchants are back, bringing unique effects and powerful boosts to your pickaxe. They add more variety, depth, and personalization to your mining builds, letting you tailor your playstyle to fit your strategy.

Autominers

Back by popular demand, the Autominer is making its return! Unlock and upgrade it to mine alongside you, directly inside your own mine. It scales with your progression and serves as the perfect helper to keep your grind going strong, even when your focus is elsewhere.

Late Game Progression

Progression beyond level 1250 has been rebalanced to smooth out sharp difficulty spikes. Scaling is now more gradual, making late-game advancement feel steadier and more rewarding. This change reduces burnout while improving pacing for players pushing into the highest levels of content.

Farm Boss

The Farm Bosses are back, but this time in a more balanced form. It now spawns on a timer every 10–15 minutes, with reduced drop rates and fewer Buff Tokens to prevent over farming. While still a reliable source of loot, it’s no longer the game-breaking powerhouse it was in past seasons, keeping progression fair and controlled.

Stamps

Final-booster stamps have been rebalanced to prevent them from giving excessive value. Money and Token Stamps with Final Potentials have been removed, while overall stamp values have been reduced. Rewards are still worthwhile, but now balanced to avoid overpowering progression.

Ring Changes

Rings are seeing a couple key updates this season. New Damage Rings have been added to boost scaling and balance late-game DPS. To address how easy Gen Rings were to obtain, the ring pool has been expanded with these additions, making it harder to target specific rings—but more rewarding when you do.

Sword Shop System

We’re removing the Power System and reintroducing the Sword Shop System to make progression smoother and more rewarding. Players will now earn money by defeating mobs, completing tasks, and unlocking stages. This currency can then be used to purchase pets and buy swords directly from the shop, rather than relying on random drops. Since swords scale with your progress, the system gives you more control and flexibility, encouraging strategy, planning, and steady growth.

Infinite Stages

Progression is now limitless, with no cap on stages and endless challenges to push through. The system scales automatically, removing the need for daily updates while ensuring difficulty and rewards keep climbing. It’s the perfect setup for dedicated grinders seeking infinite growth and challenge.

Towers

The Towers system is making its return, offering endless stages packed with powerful rewards. As you climb higher, every few stages will grant a Super Reward, making the grind more exciting and worthwhile. Built for all players, this system delivers high-reward challenges and long-term scaling to keep progression engaging.

Progression Rework

Sharpen your arsenal with powerful new enchants! Designed to enhance your progression, rewards, and overall strategy, these enchants open up more ways to tailor your playstyle and fine-tune your build. Experiment with different combinations, mix and match effects, and discover the setups that work best for your goals. It's time to level up your gear and play smarter than ever before!

Progression Rework

This season introduces a massive progression overhaul designed to rebalance the early, mid, and late game experience. Several outdated and poorly scaled features have been removed to eliminate progression bottlenecks, while core systems have been refined to create a smoother and more rewarding gameplay loop. Players can expect better pacing, smarter scaling, and more impactful upgrades as they progress.

Mastery System Revamp

Masteries have been completely overhauled into a brand-new progression tree. Earn Level Points by leveling up your pickaxe through mining, then invest them into permanent Mastery Upgrades such as Crit Chance for landing critical hits, Crit Power for gaining extra blocks on crits, and Enchant Boost for increasing your enchant proc rates. This long-term system is designed for dedicated grinding and allows you to specialize your stats to suit your playstyle.

Pickaxe Enhancer

A brand-new system has arrived to let you personalize and supercharge your pickaxe. Roll for Enhancements with varying grades, the higher the grade, the greater the boost to your boosters and multipliers. Spend newly introduced Enhance Points to reroll, and strategically lock specific Enhancements you want to keep, at the cost of a higher reroll price. This deeper, RNG-driven system adds a whole new layer of customization and power to your pickaxe progression.

Cloud Changes

Changes to Gens clouds gain will be implemented on Prisons as well!

• You will now receive 5 Clouds per website you vote on.

• Vote on all sites daily to stack easy Cloud income.

• A clean, simple buff to support your grind and support the server!

• Both Free and Premium Tracks of the Battle Pass have been updated with new rewards.

• Clouds are now included as part of the progression in the pass.

Progression Rework

Woodcutting

Introducing an entirely new skill and economy: Woodcutting. Equip your new axe and chop trees to gather valuable logs, which can be sold for profit or used in crafting. This update also introduces the Omni Tool: Axe, a powerful new tool with unique enchants and buffs tailored specifically for Woodcutting. Fully upgradable and essential for mastering this system, the axe is your key to thriving in the Woodcutting economy.

Animals

A new layer of progression has arrived through Farming and Woodcutting. Gather logs from trees to craft special Animal Eggs, each hatching into unique Animals that provide passive boosts across various parts of your gameplay. Feed them craftable Animal Food to level them up and enhance their effects even further. Collect, raise, and power up your animal squad to maximize efficiency and dominate every system.

Collectables Rework

The Collectibles system has been significantly rebalanced to improve overall game progression. While stacked boosts are still in effect, their values have been notably reduced to prevent players from advancing too quickly through booster progression. Collecting remains rewarding, but now aligns much more closely with the intended pace and balance of the game.

Cloud Changes

New Zones

Dungeons just got a whole lot bigger! New zones have been added, each packed with tougher mobs, better loot, and fresh challenges to conquer. These zones open up further progression paths, giving you more room to grow, grind, and prove your strength. Get ready to explore and push your limits!

Ascended Dragons

Dragons are evolving once again with the arrival of Ascended Dragons, the most powerful tier yet. These legendary beasts come with insane scaling, pushing your late-game grind to new heights. Only the strongest and most dedicated players will unlock them, making them both a flex and a formidable tool in your journey.

Ascended Swords

Sword hunting just reached a whole new level! A powerful new rarity, Ascended, has been introduced, standing above even Mythical. These swords boast the highest multipliers and potential in the game, making them the ultimate prize for any serious hunter. They're extremely rare, but well worth the grind if you're aiming for top-tier power.

New Enchants

Enchant prestige

Pickaxe progression has been taken to the next level with Enchant Prestiging and new enchants. Maxed enchants can now be prestiged for bonus scaling, while fresh enchants offer new options for combat, grinding, and utility. Build your perfect pickaxe with more power and flexibility than ever.

20x Pet Open

Opening pets just got way faster with the new 20x Pet Opening feature! You can now hatch up to 20 pets at once, making it easier than ever to manage large stacks. It’s the perfect update for bulk hatchers looking to save time and stay efficient.

Pickaxe Levels

The new Pickaxe Level system brings a whole new layer of progression to your grind. By feeding ores from the Cave System into your pickaxe, you’ll earn XP and level it up over time. Each level unlocks powerful  boosts, giving you a fresh way to customize and enhance your pickaxe like never before.

Auxiliary Updates

A wave of auxiliary updates has arrived, bringing powerful new tools for grinders. Block Booster Dragons now offer direct buffs to your block multiplier, and a brand-new rarity tier, Ascended Dragons, have been introduced for top-tier power. Collectibles have also been expanded, with a new class focused entirely on block boosting, unlockable only after reaching a certain Prestige level. These updates are built for players aiming for maximum efficiency and late-game dominance.

Huge Pets

Huge pets will be added similar to the other clouds! Alongside the regular pets, you now have a chance to hatch random Huge Pets. These pets are rare versions with boosted stats that outperform normal pets. They may be hard to get, but they’ll give you a real edge in your grind. Keep hatching and you might just land one!

New Enchants

New enchants have been added! These enchants introduce  strategic options that allow you to tailor your tools to better suit your farming, mining, or combat style. Whether you're looking to maximize efficiency or try out new playstyles, the expanded enchant system gives you more variety, more control, and ultimately, more power as you progress through the game.

Quality of Life Improvements

A wave of QoL improvements are being rolled out to make your experience smoother and more efficient than ever. From convenient features like depositing items straight from your backpack into your Player Shop, to subtle tweaks that reduce the time spent managing and increase the time spent grinding. You’ll notice enhancements like these across the board, all focused on making gameplay feel better at every step.

Buff Pity

We’re introducing a pity system to the Buffs feature similar to Dungeons and Prisons! If you go a certain number of attempts without receiving a Legendary or Unique buff, you will be guaranteed a Legendary buff. This helps reduce unlucky streaks and gives everyone a fairer shot at getting the buffs they’re aiming for.

Bug Fixes

We've rolled out a round of important bug fixes to ensure your grind stays smooth and consistent. From resolving issues with the Harvester ability to implementing several backend and visual improvements, these fixes help create a more stable and polished gameplay experience!

Zone Bosses

Zone bosses have been added! These powerful enemies have a chance to spawn randomly while you're killing regular mobs in your zone. Defeating a zone boss will grant significantly more money than normal mobs, making them a lucrative target for anyone looking to boost their earnings. Keep your eyes open and your weapons ready!

Zone Masteries

Zone Masteries have just been added! Now, as you kill mobs in specific zones, you'll earn mastery progress unique to that area. The more you fight, the more your mastery grows, unlocking powerful boosts and bonuses that apply specifically to that zone. It's a great way to get stronger where it matters most and earn more rewards by focusing your grind!

Huge Pets

Huge pets have been introduced, bringing massive boosts to your gameplay! Similar to the ones found in our Prisons Cloud, these oversized companions offer significantly higher bonuses than regular pets. If you're lucky enough to pull one, you'll notice a big difference in your earnings and efficiency. Start hatching and see if you can land one of these powerful allies!

Forever Pack

The new Forever Pack has arrived! This special bundle offers rewards throughout the entire season, giving you consistent value every step of the way. You'll receive a steady stream of bonuses as the season progresses, plus some free rewards along the way! It's the perfect way to boost your progress and stay ahead all season long!

We know it's been a long time since our last Survival mode update - over 12 months in fact! It's time to finally dispel the rumors that the game mode is dead. The first major point of that is announcing that Season 5 has launched!

With Survival specifically we are aiming to target overdue issues you - our community - have been vocal about, but also introducing new features and systems to bring the fun back to Survival!

GAMEPLAY UPDATES

New Spawn

Let's start with some new visuals. Check out the new Survival spawn below!

Like other clouds, springtime comes to Survival, bringing with it the same new life feeling. As always, rebuilding and refreshing our clouds takes time and attention to detail. We hope you enjoy this new space, and that it is the start of Survival beginning to bloom!

Mastery System

Mastery is the first major system we're introducing to Survival in Season 5. Mastery is a long-term gameplay system that aims to reward those that set grinding goals at the start of a season with buffs to a small range of skills.

It also has the secondary positive of stabilizing the ever important in-game economy. There is a possibility to expand Mastery to other skills in Survival, so your feedback will be important!

Now, let's take a look at how Mastery works using Farming and Hunting as examples.

Farming Mastery

Farming Mastery focuses on planting and harvesting crops, with the reward of a modified sell price based on your tier for the duration of a season.

Each player starts with Tier 1 crops, which include carrots, bamboo, and wheat. To increase your teir, you must plant and harvest a certain amount of these crops to hit milestones. Milestones will give an incremental boost to your drop rate, sell price, and grant access to the next tier of crops - maxing out at Tier 4.

Hunting Mastery

If farming crops isn't your thing, worry not as we have something a bit more active for the monster hunters among you.

Like farming mastery, hunting mastery tasks you with defeating mobs in increasing tiers of difficulty - up to 5 tiers. Slaying mobs within a tier contributes to a milestone requirement, rewarding you with access to more difficult tiers of mobs, as well increasing a milestone multiplier on your drop rates and sell prices for the rest of the season.

You'll start with simple farmyard animals, moving all the way up to witches and Iron Golems should you commit to Mastery. The table below outlines all the available quarry, and the rewards you'll reap should you pick up this bounty.

COMMUNITY UPDATES

Events

In Survival Season 5, we're looking to expand community interaction to create a more meaningful gameplay experience, while giving you more ways to express your playstyle to the rest of the community. We're doing this with a range of events, with details of each below.

King of the Hill (KotH)

Get ready for the action-packed King of the Hill (KotH) event! Every 3 hours, players can battle it out for control of the hill in a fierce 5-minute showdown. Hold the zone until the timer runs out to claim victory and earn awesome rewards like EXP and golden apples. It’s a test of strength, strategy, and endurance where only the strongest will reign supreme!

Envoys

Enovys have been added, bringing exciting opportunities to score big rewards! During the event, crates will spawn randomly across the map, race to find them and interact before anyone else does. Each crate holds a variety of valuable loot, including gems, rare blocks, or money. Whether you're grinding for riches or just love the thrill of the hunt, Envoys are the perfect way to boost your game. Keep your eyes open because you never know where the next crate will drop!

Battlepass

A brand-new Battle Pass has been added, and it’s packed with incredible rewards and overpowered tools! Each tier unlocks something bigger and better, giving you the edge you need to dominate the competition. Don’t miss out and grind your way to the top and claim your power!

Masteries

We’ve added a new Masteries system! There are multiple different categories, each offering powerful boosts as you reach specific milestones in your gameplay. The more you progress, the more rewards you unlock. It’s a new way to get rewarded more for the grind you’re doing, and make specific grinds feel more rewarding.

Pet Size Update

The pet system has been updated! Alongside the regular pets, you now have a chance to hatch random Huge Pets. These pets are rare versions with boosted stats that outperform normal pets. Buff Pity System

Introducing Gang Challenges and Upgrades! Your gang can now complete daily and weekly challenges to earn Gang Points, which can be spent on powerful upgrades that benefit everyone. Work together, complete objectives, and build up your gang’s strength over time. The more active your gang is, the stronger it becomes!

Economy Balancing

We've improved and balanced the economy. We've noticed that progression was going way too fast over the last few seasons with all the new features implemented that bring in more boosters. This is why we took some time rebalancing the progression to make the season last longer.

Roll Dices

Introducing to gens is rolls! Roll dices to receive skins which give various of different boosts. Choose which boost you equip based on your progression and be as efficient as you can be! New to the roll system is a way to scrap skins you don't want to keep at all! Use skin scrap to craft new/better dices for a chance to get better skins!

Shiny Collectables

Al though collectables were already a thing in the last season of gens, a new update arrived for them! Have a chance to find shiny collectables, these collectables have twice as big of a boost as their base boost!

Farm Bosses

A new enemy to defeat while you are farming crops! These bosses will spawn at the side of your farm where you have to defeat them! Farm crops to drain their health and kill them. Whenever you kill a farm boss you will receive a couple rewards. The better the crop you've unlocked the more health the bosses will have and the better the rewards you will receive.

Easter is here, and what better way to spend it than grinding out mobs to see what loot they've been hiding? That's right, it's time for a Dungeons update!
Season 19 went live on:

Saturday, April 19th 2025 - 16:00 EST / 21:00 BST

Now, let's delve into what Dungeons Season 19 has to offer!

GAMEPLAY UPDATES

Power Over Profit

Starting with Dungeons, we want to make changes that better define our modes from each other. Starting in Season 19 we'll be retiring the money system and replacing it with a new core system: Power.

Power determines how effective each swing of your sword is against mobs. Every swing that hits a mob generates Power. All the familiar multipliers, boosters, and synergies that used to grant bonuses to money, now work to grant you more Power instead.
We're also including some new additions that affect your boosters and multipliers to Power, these include; Pets, Rolls (previously Skins), Collectables, Auras, Sword Rarity Tiers, Zone Scaling, and grouping up with other players.

With this system change, we want to reinforce the fantasy that you are growing stronger alongside your blade. Anyone can buy a sword, but becoming a master requires discipline.

Sword Drops

Not only do we want to empower you as a player, but we also want to improve the tools you'll be using. In Dungeons Season 19, we'll be overhauling how your Sword functions and can be upgraded.

Swords can now drop from defeated mobs, with each one coming in one of six rarity tiers: Common, Rare, Epic, Unique, Legendary, or Mythical. Higher tier rarity swords will grant a stronger multiplier to gaining Power.

You can also fuse duplicate sword drops together, ranking it up to unlock stronger Power multipliers and potentially other effects.

Auras, Collectables, and Rolls... Oh my!

That's right, we're rolling the Auras, Collectables, and Skins system to Dungeons in Season 19. As Gens and Prisons are similar modes, it felt natural to tie these systems into Dungeons as well, but with a few tweaks based on your feedback.

First off, we want to talk about Skins and a minor update to rebrand them. We know Skins have a specific meaning within games generally, with a heavy focus on them being aspirational cosmetic items. To better distinguish FadeCloud's systems from others, Skins are now being re-branded to Rolls going forward.

Rolls will still work the same as in other game modes. For those of you who aren't aware, Rolls is an upgrading system within our other game modes that allow you to earn stat-based upgrades and boosts that persist between resets. They have a range of effects and rarity tiers like the Sword Drops system. We give you a limited number of free chances at earning a roll per season. In other FadeCloud game modes they affect the rate at which you earn items or currencies. In Dungeons, they will also affect the rate at which you can earn Power.

Second, let's go over Auras. In Season 19, Dungeons will be receiving our permanent meta-progression system for the first time. Each Aura is purchaseable with gems, and grants unique boosts. Gain access to stronger boosts by buying lower tier auras.

Finally we're adding Collectables, a range of unique 50+ items that can drop from killing mobs. Each one gives you a choice of booster, and are fully tradeable with other players - enticing you with economic and social opportunities.

Easter Update

On Saturday, you may have noticed we launched our limited-time Easter event! We hope all of you have been getting lucky on our wheel of rewards.

For those of you that haven't jumped in yet: play in Gens, Dungeons, or Prisons to earn a limited time currency, allowing you the chance at a range of prizes. The Easter event will be sticking around until May 3rd, so you have plenty of time to jump in, or buy any cosmetics that catch your eye!

Spring is here and that means some very special seasonal updates for this Easter weekend!

This is part of our double content drop we're doing this Easter weekend alongside the launch of Dungeons Season 19. If you want to find out more information about that, there will be a blog post documenting everything this Saturday on our website.

But for now, whether you're new to the FadeCloud Network or a veteran that needs a reminder, let's get into the details of our Easter festivities!

GAMEPLAY UPDATES

Easter Eggs

A limited-time event will be running in our Dungeons, Gens, and Prisons game modes for 2 weeks; from April 19th to May 3rd 2025.

The event has two components, first is a new exclusive Easter themed title! We've hidden it on our Wheel of Rewards which leads us to the second part of the update: the grind.

The seasonal event grind will be live for the next two weeks there will be a shared currency across all our modes: Eggs. You'll earn eggs at a passive rate just by being connected to the FadeCloud server. Playing Gens, Prisons, or Dungeons will reward you with a bonus supply of eggs.

Eggs can be spent to spin our mystical Wheel of Rewards, offering you a choice of random prizes. Will you get lucky and hit one of our jackpots, like one of our special Easter items?

COMMUNITY UPDATES

Easter Cosmetics

We're launching two waves of cosmetics along with the event; an Easter-themed cosmetic case, and a Cloud exclusive Easter bundle. Check them out in our store, or in-game!

Daily Easter Key All

As a bonus seasonal treat, we'll be running key alls at a vastly increased rate for the duration of the Easter event. That rate is daily, so come get them while you can!

Hello Faders and Miners!

We wanted to sneak this update in before a bigger update coming soon to some other game modes. We know it's been a little while since we took a look at Prisons, but we're happy to announce that Season 12 is OUT NOW!

Not only that, but we've taken feedback from the most recent Gens update and we're experimenting by introducing a couple gameplay systems from Gens into Prisons. If you're on the more fashionable side of the community, we also have an update for you. Let's jump into it!

GAMEPLAY UPDATES

Collectables

Following successful tests in Gens, we're expanding the new Collectables and Auras systems to other game modes, starting with Season 12 of Prisons.

If you don't know what Collectables are, here's a quick explainer for you new players.

Collectables are a range of over 50 unique bonuses that affect currencies and other aspects during gameplay. In Prisons, this will include the money, blocks, orbs, and gems currencies. The more of a type of collectable you have, will lead to a stronger effect. You can find these collectables whilst mining.

Like in Gens, collectables are fully tradable between players, leading to careful negotiation and strategy for those that like to dip into the social and economic sides of the metagame. We've also updated Collectables to have shiny variants that are rarer to find!

Auras

Auras were also introduced in Gens Season 14, and are a more permanent and consistent path of progression.

Unlike Collectables, Auras are a permanent multiplier to your boosts. They will grow stronger in effect as you gather lower tiers. There are currently 10 Auras to choose from.

We're looking forward to seeing how both these systems change gameplay, as well as any feedback on how Auras and Collectables could be expanded.

Skins Rebranded

In Prisons Season 12, we're expanding the Skins system to allow for more impactful gameplay whilst still being a highly desirable piece of fashion.

Skins will now have gameplay effects that boost how you play in Prisons. One example is the skin below - Frostbane (common) adds a 1.5x multiplier for luck.

There will be over 50 of these unique skins at launch, coming in different tiers of rarity, and strength of effect. You'll be given a number of free rolls to get rarer skins. You can also pay gems to upgrade your earned skins with stronger effects and the chance of multiple rolls.
